Sunset Beach Art Festival - This annual
event is a local favorite. Held on the
greenbelt (North & South Pacific), the event
begins at 10 a.m. and goes till late
afternoon. Cost: Free admission. Arts,
crafts, a fundraiser raffle, live music and
some vendor booths with soda and hot dogs
are available. Take mom for Mother's Day and
buy her a gift right there.

Mother's Day Brunch - The Hilton
Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach
will be hosting an extravagant Mother’s Day
brunch on Sunday May 11th. Families will be
able to enjoy ocean views and live
entertainment while they dine and spoil Mom!
Brunch will be presented in three seatings
at 10:00a.m., 12:30p.m., and 3:00p.m. The
price for this affair is $75 for adults and
$19.95 for children ages 6-12, plus tax and

It will be strictly stick city when these girls and young women come together to compete in a really cool sport that is taking the fields by storm. On the first Saturday of the month, the public can tour Shipley Nature Center at 11 a.m., in addition to the clean up activities that begin at 9 a.m. and go till noon. May 11, 2008 Wetlands viewing - Birders, nature lovers and the curious are invited to drop by the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, one of the West Coast's significant flyways for migrating birds. Bring binoculars to enjoy even closer views of these soaring creatures. Location: Pacific Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway. Enjoy 300 acres, plus a 1.5 mile loop trail. No pets or bikes permitted on the trails. Open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
