June 29, 2010 Festival of Folktales - Storytellers present tales from around the world. Watch performances of international music, marionettes, dancers, crafts and children's theater. The Festival of Folktales is one of the library's best-attended events each year. Tickets for games, face painting, special performers and crafts start at 50 cents. Tickets can be purchased in advance in the Children's Department or on the day of the festival from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Food will be available for cash purchase. June 29, 2010 Adventure Playground - Calling all kids ages 5 to 12. You are invited to build a raft on a small pond, navigate a rope bridge, build forts and go down a mud slide.
