April 6, 2013 Bolsa Chica Wetlands Tour - Free First Saturday Tour of Bolsa Chica
Ecological Reserve. Tours begin every 15 minutes and five areas of interest
are included in the presentation: history, birds, endangered species,
ecology and restoration. Docents stationed on or near the footbridge,
a truly magnificent entrance to the restored Bolsa Chica wetlands, offer exceptional on-site presentations
on the first Saturday of each month. Time: 9-10:30 a.m. Location: Pacific
Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner Streets across the street from the main entrance to Bolsa Chica
State Beach. Cost: This free tour is on a first come, first served basis.

wetlands and upper mesas includes walking--wear comfortable shoes

Art - Windows Gallery in Huntington Beach Central Library on
the first floor features works from amateur and professional artists with
varied themes that range from landscapes to abstracts. This mixed media

Wetlands viewing - Birders, nature lovers and the curious are invited to
visit Bolsa Chica Ecological Preserve, a significant flyway
for migrating birds. Binoculars recommended. Location: Pacific Coast Highway
between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway. 1.5 mile loop
trail and 300 acres of protected wetlands! Pets and bicycles are not
permitted on the trails. Open sunrise to dusk.

interpretive center with educational exhibits, nature trails for wildlife
