DIANE'S ANNUAL LABOR DAY WEEKEND PARKING LOT SALE...DIANE'S BEACHWEAR WILL UNDERGO THEIR BIGGEST SALE OF THE YEAR WITH GIVEAWAYS, GOODIE BAGS AND LIVE MANNEQUINS

Huntington Beach, Calif. – Diane’s Beachwear Labor Day Weekend (August 30 through Sept. 1, 2008) on Main Street in Huntington Beach is holding an annual Parking Lot Sale-- the best sale of the year. Offering up to 75% off on select merchandise, customers can also look for giveaways from participating sponsors, special goodie bags when you spend $50 or more (while supplies last) and the gorgeous live mannequins who will showcase the hottest swimwear, clothing and accessories at the store.

Diane's 80's Surf Luau during the U.S. Open was so hot, but Labor Day Weekend sale is 10 times hotter because of slashed prices.

The live mannequins will have their hair styled and makeup done by Huntington Beach’s Meleesa Salon.

Diane’s Beachwear sponsors include Split, Raisins, Radio Fiji, B. Swim, Rusty, Flojos, Restricted, Ed Hardy, Body Glove, Rip Curl, Vix, Billabong, Lucy Love, Local Motion, Red Carter and Reef.

If you would like more information on the event, please contact Melanie Michaud, Director of Marketing for Diane’s Beachwear at 310-224-1900 ext. 2108, or go to dianesbeachwear.com.

Diane’s Beachwear began as Mickie’s Swim Shop located next to the Manhattan Beach Pier in Southern California in Spring 1962. The 150 square-foot store opened by Diane’s mother, Mickie Bandle grew quickly and relocated to one block up the street. Diane’s custom made bikinis were the talk of the town. Each customer was fitted right there in the store and the bikini was then hand-sewn just above the store. The daring bikinis were 1” below the waist with crossover, reversible triangle tops which were all the rage in 1962!  Diane Biggs took over the company and grew the number of locations to 16 throughout Southern California and an E-Commerce Website. Diane’s tremendous success within the beachwear industry is due to the company’s true passion for swimwear and dedication to its customer base.
