June 2007 Huntington Beach Events California
June is when the summer starts sizzling with events activities in Huntington Beach. We try not to go into overdrive when things heat up. Why? Because some of the major events start booking back-to-back. You sometimes can't do them all so you have to pick which event you'll experience. One the favorites we really dig is the Huntington Beach Concours d'Elegance classic car show. It's a fancy name for fancy cars that are pristine, spotless pieces of art from another era, or in limited production. Hundreds of these beautiful machines congregate on the grassy knolls and lawns of Huntington Beach's shady Central Park behind Central Park Library and Cultural Center. Fortunate for us, June eases into the summer events season with the concerts starting to come, one after another. The big draw, the really big show comes in July when the US Open of Surfing hits shore.
