-Ultimate Laff-Down, Quarter-Final round #3
(Comedy/Stand up) hosted by Ara Anton who's first role came as a recurring
police officer on the daytime soap 'General Hospital'. He then landed the
lead paramedic in the 2003 hit 'Somethingšs Gotta Give' with Jack Nicholson
and Diane Keaton. Ara co-starred in an episode of CSI: NY which aired in
January 2005. Featured guest Laura Hayden is like radioactive plutonium;
calm, cool and collected until comedy took over her life. She's the official
party starter.
Martini Blues Supper Club in Huntington Beach California, the laff-down
capital, is a place that attracts fantastic comedy talent to the beaches of
Orange County. Many of the comedians and performers drive from Los Angeles
clubs to test out their material on this unique audience that likes to laugh
but also likes to criticize. It's a dry and funny blend of comedy but you
really must visit sometime and partake of one of OC's best comedy venues,
Martini Blues.
