Farmer's Market & Art A Fair - at Pier Plaza (Pacific Coast Highway at Main St.) Event is held weekly from Noon to around 5 p.m. There is no admission, and pets aren't allowed. Visitors can purchase California certified produce and foods, and shop for unique beach-themed gifts ranging from home decor to jewelry and gifts. It has been called the most scenic market in Orange County, thanks to its location overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Wetlands viewing - Birders, nature lovers and the curious are invited to visit Bolsa Chica Ecological Preserve, a significant flyway for migrating birds. Binoculars recommended. Location: Pacific Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway. 1.5 mile loop trail and 300 acres of protected wetlands!  Pets and bicycles are not permitted on the trails. Open sunrise to dusk.

Beach Bonfire - Free first come, first serve fire rings offer a chance to have an outdoor cooked meal. Bring your own wood. The rings are located on Huntington City Beach south of the HB Pier, at Huntington State Beach (PCH & Beach Blvd. entrance), and Bolsa Chica State Beach (PCH between Warner & Seapoint). Hours: open 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. All beaches charge parking fees (around $15) but there also is some street coin meter parking near City Beach at Beach Blvd. and Pacific Coast Highway.
