As dazzling and spectacular as it is intimate and intense, this epic supernatural love story has elements of Twilight, Romeo and Juliet and Wicked. Based on the haunting folk ballad of Barbara Allen, John, a witch boy, falls in love with the beautiful Barbara. He begs the conjurers to use their powers to make him human so he can marry her. As the townspeople grow suspicious of the outsider, the witches want him back and all conspire against the young lovers as the play moves to its tragic conclusion. Along with the drama there is comedy, music, singing, dance as well as special effects. This production promises to be unlike any other as Dark of the Moon returns to our Historic Theater for its 30th Anniversary production.
By Howard Richardson and William Berney, in cooperation with the Richardson/Yale Property Trust; Elliot S. Blair, Administrator. General Admission $15 Adults, $12 Students and Seniors. Location: Huntington Beach High School Bell Auditorium, 1905 Main St., Huntington Beach, CA

Are you an event planner,  marketing manager, or community volunteer? WE CAN HELP YOU! If the local HB population is what you seek in a forum such as HuntingtonBeachEvents website, let us help you survive and prosper.

Free sports at the beach and throughout the city include volleyball, surfing, roller blading, jogging, walking, tennis, basketball, handball, campfires, gondola sunset rides, walking the dog at Dog Park or Dog Beach and more! This isn't just a website for events, it's a site for the community to enjoy and submit their events to. If we can help your needy cause, no event is too small. And we do it for FREE! Sure we could charge money like others do, but huntingtonbeachevents is about COMMUNITY. We've supplied free event listings since 2001. Support us if you like with links, ads, event submissions...or whatever.  This is your forum to know what's going on in HB.
