US Open of Surfing & Beach Games is a surfing and extreme sports festival featuring the US Open of Surfing and Beach Games that include Soul Bowl Skateboard competition and BMX Bike competition. The event includes concerts, fashion, vendor booths, autograph signing and Surf Village, an interactive area on the sand with video games, fashion, music and sports demos.
Schedule: Honda US Open of Surfing presented by O'Neill - July 25-31 with pretrial rounds held July 22-24; Soul Bowl - Skateboarding - WCS Sanctioned; team competition format and BMX (Hoffman Sports Association Sanctioned). Arrowhead It's Better Up Here Contest: Highest air contest for skate & BMX sponsored by Arrowhead. Freestyle Motocross Demos - July 29 -31 featuring three 30-40 minute demos per day. Featured athletes may include Jeff 'Full Tilt' Tilton, Tommy 'Tom Cat' Clowers, Ronnie Renner, Mike Mason, Taylor Sterner. Karch Kiraly Invitational (4-Man Pro Beach Shootout) features 4 on 4 volleyball competition with four total matches; 11 men & 4 women. July 30, 11am - 3pm and July 31, 2pm - 4pm. Concert Stage featuring national and regional artists July 30 and 31st.
