Surfers' Hall of Fame 2005 Induction. The legends of surfing are inducted into the Surfers' Hall of Fame. Their hand and feet
imprints are set in cement as they autograph tiles similar to the Hollywood
Walk of Fame. Tom Carroll, Bob McKnight, Mark Richards and Carl Hayward will be honored. On January 21, 2005,
respected shaper, surfer and longtime Hurley employee Carl Hayward passed
away from a brain aneurism during a surf session at Huntington Beach Pier.
He was 48 years old. Time: 10 a.m.

festival featuring the US Open
of Surfing and Beach Games that include Soul Bowl Skateboard competition and BMX
Bike competition. The event includes concerts, fashion, vendor booths,
autograph signing and Surf Village, an interactive area on the sand with
