January 11, 2008 Bands - OCD at
Perqs Nite Club. 21+, 117 Main Street, Huntington Beach, CA. Perqs, home
base for the Walter Trout Band, is a lively, casual bar that once served as
a brothel in Huntington Beach. Today it is just a bar, and is grandfathered
as the only "strictly bar" in Huntington Beach. It's Friday night and you're
staying out late. Nearby
Howard Johnson has a room for just over
$70. That's pretty cheap for not having to drive home long distances. But
you can also walk to your hotel from the bar and stay at the
Best Western three blocks away for around
$125. 714-960-9996. photos
