Grunion Run - Catch those slippery silversides, tiny fish that spawn on HB Beaches, available for catching (with a California fishing license) on Open Season comprised of just a few days each year. Tonight you may catch them with your bare hands (no nets, buckets or sand traps allowed) only if you hold a fishing license. Expected grunion run time is 11:50 p.m.-1:50 a.m. Be responsible and only keep them if you plan to eat them!

Ross Griswold invites all Trojans to join in a day of service to remove trash and debris from the channel that carries run off and trash to four municipalities, neighboring unincorporated areas, and the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, threatening the health of this unique urban ecosystem.
