Huntington Beach Kite Party with Kite Connection - professional kite fliers
are invited to participate in the Kite Connection's annual kite party. Small
beach area set aside for amateurs. Colorful stunt kites, for this annual
family-friendly festival. Kites will be available for purchase and the
public is invited to fly their kits outside the roped-off kite arenas on the
beach. Time: 10 a.m. Cost: Free to watch. Location: Huntington Beach Pier,

3/1 Run Benefiting Huntington Beach 3/1 Marines Foundation - Join this 5K
fun run/walk benefiting the Huntington Beach 3/1 Marines Foundation. The
Huntington Beach 3/1 Marines Foundation oversees all activities and events
in support of brave men and their families. The third annual "3/1 Run" will
feature a platoon of our adopted Marines doing a cadence run prior to the 5K
run/walk. Medals will be awarded in several age groups. Following the run,
HB firefighters will be serving breakfast to the runners and public.
Breakfast is $5 per person. Awards will be presented at 9:30am. Time: 8 a.m.
Cost: $40 entry fee to run. Location: Huntington City Beach, Pacific Coast
