Civil War Re-enactment and Encampment. Live canon battles, camps, actors in
costume and food vendors. Schedule: Saturday, Sept. 1 - 10 a.m.
opens, 1:30 p.m. battle; living history weapons demo at 2:30
p.m., final battle at 4 p.m., twilight concert to follow.
Sunday, Sept. 2 - Church service at 8 a.m., camp opens at 9
a.m., first battle at 11 a.m., weapons demo at Noon, 2nd battle

Boardfest All Girls Surfing, Skateboarding event.
Free concerts, free games, booths, and competition with top female athletes
in beach sports such as surfing and skateboarding. Time: Daily begins
at 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost: Festival is open to the public, free. Live entertainment starts daily at 10 a.m. Location: South side of

Saturday Car Cruisers known as the Donuts Derelicts share Hot Rods, Street
Cars, Woodies, Imports and a variety of restored vehicles at Adams and
Magnolia Ave. Parking is available in the Ace parking lot or Adams Avenue
Donut Shop with overflow parking extending to Drug Emporium lot across
Adams. Time 6 a.m., over by approx. 8:30 a.m. No phone number
