Rugs in the shape of surfboards, surf themed wall decor and planter boxes, household gifts, original art and body products are usually featured by vendors selling their creations at this weekly event held at Pier Plaza next to the Huntington Beach Pier. 2010 Plein Air Festival - Huntington Beach Art Center's Plein Air Festival invites Plein Air artists of the plein air (outdoor painting) style to participate in a competition. Painting in the Streets allows the public to view artists at work while they paint on Main Street and at The Strand in downtown Huntington Beach.
