October 12-21, 2012 Twelve Angry Men, play. Golden West College Theater
with Martie Ramm (director) presents a drama that involves 12 jurors who
must decide the fate of a man accused of stabbing his father.
October 12-13, 2012 HHPC Holiday Boutique. The Holiday Boutique
features jewelry, clothing, accessories, home decor, specialty gourmet and
more! Purchases benefit Philharmonic Society Youth Music Education Programs.

October 12, 2012 Restore the Wetlands -
Rabbit Island, ae is a 20-acre rare dune habitat at the Bolsa Chica
Ecological Reserve is surrounded by coastal salt marsh, but is infested with
non-native Iceplant and other invasives. Help remove these invasive plants
and learn more about Bolsa Chica--wear work gloves, water is provided. Space
limited, reservations recommended, volunteers are limited to age 15 years
and up. Work Days: September 14, 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. October 12, 11 a.m. – 2

Wednesday Art Walk - Held
each 3rd Wednesday of the month from 6 to 9 p.m., this event
features art exhibits in downtown Huntington
Beach businesses ranging from restaurants to
hotels and ad agencies. It is absolutely
free for the public to see.
October 21, 2012 - Surf City Beach Derby.
Derby runners, walkers, and program
supporters can raise funds to assist
families in transition. Runners can raise
funds from family, friends, neighbors, and
co-workers through October 20th, with all
funds raised through sponsorship of runners
going directly to the Project Self
Sufficiency Program. Info:

October 31, 2012 Trick or Treat on Main
Street, Downtown HB. Halloween Fest on Main
Street Time: 4 -8 p.m. Cost: Free. Kids can
Trick or Treat with local merchants in
downtown HB and enjoy free activities such
as Pony Rides and Petting Zoo. Bouncy
houses, Giant Slide, Drekko the
Dragon, 40 foot Obstacle Course, Police and
Fire Departments with their vehicles include
an antique fire truck. Face Painting,
Costume Contests, HBoo Walk of Chills and
Thrills on Walnut & Main Street, plus a
whole lot more to see. Simply Halloween
