Newland House Museum Tour - The historic Newland House is features a museum and docent led tours from local historians who provide information about the two-story Victorian home built in 1898. Central Park Concerts - Night Blooming Jazzmen Traditional New Orleans classic Jazz and Blues. They have a lot of fun with their audiences and with each other and their music is top quality. Bring picnic blankets, lawn chairs and the entire family for a free concert at the bandshell behind Central Library. Lots of shade trees available! August 19  Bolsa Chica Wetlands and Mesa Tour. Bolsa Chica Land Trust nonprofit organization sponsors a monthly (3rd Sunday) docent-led tour. It  makes five stops along the walkbridge and loop trails of the wetlands. Sun protection, comfortable shoes and binoculars are recommended. Time: 10 a.m. to Noon. Activity level - mild. Cost: Free.
