May 28 Holiday Memorial Day Ceremony. Memorial Day Ceremony
honors deceased veterans who have lost their lives in battle. Hosted by the
American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Jewish War Veterans, the
ceremony includes a flag raising, rifle salute and taps. Local Assemblymen,
Congressmen and the Mayor of Huntington Beach will officiate.

May 28 Marine Safety Open House - Celebrate National Beach Safety Week May 21 - 28, with a visit to Vincent G. Moorhouse Lifeguard Headquarters. The event will include beach safety displays, brochures, free coloring books and educational videos. Children may board a Nissan rescue truck or Honda rescue watercraft and there will be free blood pressure check and tour of the lifeguard apparatus room. Location: 103 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, CA. Time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
May 28 Kids Klub at Bella Terra Juggler Willma Barrett. Time: 11 to 11:30 A.M. Designed for parents & small children (under 5) this free program will be held in the Amphitheater at Bella Terra, (just outside Century Theatres).
