Cabaret, musical. Cabaret brings to life the characters that inhabited Berlin right before the start of the Third Reich. In showing the denizens of the seedy Kit Kat Club and the decadent real world of Berlin where love and politics touched the lives of many, Cabaret won 12 Tony Awards including Best Musical. Cabaret is based both on the play I Am a Camera by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood. Wetlands viewing -The public is invited to visit the Bolsa Chica Ecological Preserve, a significant flyway for migrating birds. Binoculars recommended. Location: Pacific Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway. 1.5 mile loop trail and 300 acres of protected wetlands! Pets and bicycles are not permitted on the trails. Open sunrise to dusk.
