WIENER TAKES ALL
In a special fundraising event at Old World Village (home to the annual
Oktoberfest), guests can meet filmmaker Shane MacDougall and 4-legged celebs
from the film, Wiener Takes All.
This magical journey into the world of wiener dog racing crisscross the
continent to get the inside scoop on what makes champion dogs and their
colorful owners tick. Capacity crowds, rabid owners and the excitement of
getting a small pet to perform are part & parcel of this sport which is
explored in this first-ever film that delves deep into the subject of Wiener
Dog racing.
Allegations of
animal exploitation, cheating, doping, and race rigging that have surrounded
this fairly new sport have been examined in the film. In its final analysis,
WIENER TAKES ALL, but igives back so much more.
