Marilu Henner
Marilu Henner has a distinguished career as a talented actress and dancer.
Featured in a season of the PBS Ballroom Dancing series, she is the daughter
of a professional Chicago dancer. Born and raised in Chicago, the family kept her
mother's maiden name for career purposes and Henner has proudly carried that
name throughout an incredible film and TV career spanning over 30 years.
Maybe you've seen her movie acting. Or perhaps her TV shows such as her own,
Marilu. Many remember her in the hit series, Evening Shade, featuring Burt
Reynolds as an ex-pro football star who returned to home town in Arkansas
home to coach the high school football team. His wife Ava, played by Henner,
was elected the town's prosecuting attorney while pregnant with the couple's
fourth child. The series ran for approx. four years from 1990 - 1994.
Looking young, fit and trim, Marilu Henner is in Huntington Beach for a
signing of her latest book, Wear Your Life Well: Use
What You Have to Get What You Want. Credited with recently
helping her new husband beat cancer, Henner is a healthy woman who
exemplifies that beauty can come with age.
If you miss this event at Barnes & Noble Bookseller in Huntington Beach, you
