BANDS:

SUPERWAVE: Former members of San Diego Deoras and Los Angeles Halibuts, not having played much in the past few years for one reason or another, combined efforts to form this new group reigning from the San Diego area. We welcome their traditional surf sound back after a one year absence.

GLASGOW TIKI SHAKERS: Located just north of us in the quiet town of Mar Vista this awesome trio has delighted us with their traditional surf sounds as well as not often heard sounds such as Martin Denny’s Quiet Village. As you watch this group you will see uncanny smiles which make you realize they obviously love to play together.

POLLO DEL MAR: Faithfully each year these lads make their way down from the San Francisco area to the delight of us all…Ferenc and his group bring a new meaning to the surf genre with their psychedelic twist to the traditional surf sounds of the 50’ & 60"s.

SLACKTONE: The word "Slacktone" alone opens a new dimension and takes on its own life with band members being some of "THE" most dynamic players in the biz. Fast fingers Dave Wronski and hammerhead Dusty Watson combined with either Dick Dale’s bass player Sammie or Steve who graciously fills in while Sammie is on tour with Dick make up this awesome trio.

MEN OF MYSTERY: Some of the members from the Detonators reigning from the Van Nuys area and Abdel from the Santa Clarita area formed this idea during the surfguitar101.com convention last year out of love for Abdel Khineche and his guitar expertise in playing Shadows tunes. You’re going love these guys!

DUOTONES PLUS 2: Duotones as such consisting of Paul "Mr Moto" Johnson from Capistrano Beach and The Chantays’ Gil Orr from Laguna Beach have added Slacktone Dusty Watson & Surfaris Ron Eglit to make this incredible group of intense players. You won’t want to miss one minute of this!

BAND CD’S AND MERCHANDISE WILL BE AVAILABLE DURING THIS CONCERT!!!

Vendors support our fundraising efforts by renting their spaces so please support them by buying their wares.

Be sure and drop by the museum and check out our newest addition of Dick Dale’s Induction to the Nashville Musicians Hall of Fame on the Dick Dale Tribute Wall we created last spring.

We invite you to join in celebration of 14 years of great music, from dedicated musicians who donate their precious time in support of the museum. Our concert lineup features oldies but goodies and promising newcomers as well as celebrities like Dick Dale, Dean Torrence, John Blair & Davie Allen who just happen to drop in.
