HUNTINGTON BEACH Walk to End Alzheimer's Annual Event 

Schedule:

7:30am Check-in and festival area opens, including interactive exhibitors
9:30am Opening ceremonies on main stage and walker warm-up
10:00am Walk starts
Noon Festival area closes

· Two (2) and four (4) mile walk route
· Food concessions
· Water will be provided
· Dog, wheelchair and stroller friendly
· Doggie Dugout
· Kidz Zone

The Orange County Chapter of the national Alzheimer's Association invites the public to make a difference by raising money to contribute to the organization and its causes. After you have raised a suggested minimum of $100 you can sign up and participate in the walk that annually takes place on Huntington City Beach, often across the street from the Hyatt Hotel. Free transportation is provided whenever possible through shuttle systems. The walk is the final portion or the public's efforts to support Alzeimer's Association. The walk includes entertainment, prizes, T-shirt for participants, food concessions and great interaction with others interested in the subject.

1 in 3 seniors dies with Alzheimer's, the sixth leading cause of death in the U.S. Alzheimer's can strike people in their 30s, 40s and 50s, in younger-onset Alzheimer's.

Raise $100 – MILESTONE:1001 includesWalk to End Alzheimer’s T-Shirt for very participant who raises $100 by Walk day--however, there is a limit of one t-shirt per qualified participant.
