Wavecrest Beach Cruiser Meet combines cool cars such as classic woodies (woods) with a perfect beach setting at Huntington Beach Pier and Main Street USA in classic, downtown HB.

Wavecrest Woody Meet is an annual car show open to all motorized beach vehicles (known as beach cruisers) manufactured through 1970. The event is one of Huntington Beach's favorite car shows due to its prime location at the beach. Cars are parked along Main Street, Walnut and Olive Avenues, and at Pier Plaza, with some even sitting on the Huntington Beach Pier.

Shiny cars, including many woodies, offer visitors great photo opportunities to stand and pose. The event is quite similar to one of our Southern California favorites, the Redondo Beach Pier Car Show held on the same weekend as the annual Redondo Lobster Festival in September. If you love California Pier Car Shows, then you also will enjoy Woodies on the Wharf in Santa Cruz.

Huntington Beach Beachcruiser Meet is open to all station wagons, sedan deliveries, convertibles, VW transporters, nomads, woodies, pick-ups and other similar vehicles of the era, trophies will be awarded to "best of" entrants. The event is held along Main Street and Pier Plaza allowing attendees to enjoy both the Main Street activities and the Pacific Ocean setting.
