Starbucks Invites You to a Holiday Coffee Social Sunday, December 8, 2013, 11 a.m. Free

Hear nationally-known Historian Craig MacDonald, a Pulitzer Prize nominee and author of 18 books, tell Amazing True, Unknown Stories of Hope and Happiness in 19th Century California and the Old West. Each story has a surprise ending.

Also meet Artist Bill Anderson, whose watercolors are in museums and galleries around the world. Some of Bill's holiday artwork will be on the Starbucks Art Wall from Dec. 1-15.

Craig & Bill will autograph their acclaimed book, "Old West Christmas-Tales with a Twist," after the talk. Bill will draw a horse (one of a kind) in each book you purchase. There will be lots of surprises.

HB Council on Aging presents speaking on true, unknown, inspirational stories about miners and settlers in California and the West, who received Hope and Joy when they needed it most.

These incredible 19th Century stories will really get you into the Holiday Spirit. The professional historian and storyteller is a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the national history honor society, and the author of 18 books on the West. He speaks at national conventions, universities and historical societies.

Be sure to bring a friend and attend this fun, event. It's something you'll always remember!
