Earrywood Haunted House Turns Serene into a Free Halloween Scream

The Earwood family and friends annually erect Earrywood Haunted House (now in its 12th year in 2014) with around 10 darkened rooms and hallways, 30 monsters and thrills that you wouldn't believe in the serene neighborhood not far from the Huntington Beach wetlands where wild thing such as coyotes roam.

Earrywood haunted house is manned by family and friends, has featured Freddy Krueger, the demon from The Exorcist, clowns, a butcher, strobe lights, fog machines and ample screams.

Entry to Earrywood Haunted House is free. Wait time: 45 minutes to an hour. Typically, about 400 to 500 people show up on the first night, and another 600 to 800 on Halloween.
