Annual Las Damas Ball Fundraiser Friday, November 15, 2013 at Don the Beachcomber.

The annual event begins at 8 p.m. with music by Party Jones band from 8 to 11 p.m. There are casino-style games and a live auction. Cost: $25 donation

The Music

The bands include weekly house favorites such as Robby Armstrong band, whose music is appearing a new movie. (Robby is brother-in-law to Cameron Diaz.) On Sundays there's a weekly Reggae show with bands performing music, a small cover charge (usually $5) and proceeds to benefit special causes.
