When St. Patrick's season and day arrives, you'd be lucky to book these guys, one of Orange County's and Southern California's top bands capable of performing Irish favorites. However, Galway Hooker masterfully cuts through musical boundaries. A genesis of talented and diverse artists, their strength comes from the odd mix that somehow works, creating an incredible energy on stage. Veteran punk rock vocalist Paddy Brashier isn't a a screamer. He's smooth but his vocal range and rich sound allows him to move between songs and genre, wow-ing the crowd.
Add to this talent Jason Stout on Drums; Cathy Alonzo on Fiddle & Violin; Six Strings man Paul Bennett on Guitar and Three Dog Paul Wilson on Bass Guitar, and you'll see why HB's so proud to call this hometown band one their own. Formed in 2008 in Surf City, the band quickly rose the ranks to perform in the most sought after place with the hottest bands such as David Allen Coe at the Coach House, with Young Dubliners at the Galaxy, with Craic Haus at the Juke Joint and TSOL at the Punk Rock Picnic, The Vibrators at the Blue Cafe and The Yeastie Boys.
