The Setting

Don the Beachcomber is an island-inspired full service restaurant and bar with meeting space, weekly events, and special events such as a Tiki Festival, special comedy and musical shows and revues, concerts, and monthly events such as Tome Kubis Big Band Jazz concerts. There are tiki torches, tropical plants, surfboards, and some really cool stuff to see. Attire can be casual of dress up if you like.

The Music

The bands include weekly house favorites such as Robby Armstrong band, whose music is appearing a new movie. (Robby is brother-in-law to Cameron Diaz.) On Sundays there's a weekly Reggae show with bands performing music, a small cover charge (usually $5) and proceeds to benefit special causes. To stay on top of the band look at our HuntingtonBeachEvents.com calendar, or see the donthebeachcomber.com website.

The vibe

Don the Beachcomber was established after much research and legal effort to obtain the name recognized in history of an island and California known restaurateur, Don the Beach. The co-founder of Don the Beachcomber, Art Snyder, passed away. His wife Deliah, is the executive chef, and is in charge of the business.

The Food

Island themed favorites such as ribs, fish, steaks, sandwiches and salads please a variety of tastes.

The Drinks

Cocktails are varied. Beer is always popular in the Dagger Bar, but you'll find mai-tais, margaritas, shots, and exotic drinks. Just ask the bartender or cocktail server!
