California and the surrounding area. Huntington Beach (sometimes
referred to as Surf City), is located in Southern California in the
County of Orange. There are approx. 34 cities in the county and
Huntington Beach ranks among the top five for population with around
200,000 residents.
Founded in 1904 and incorporated in 1909, the city is located along
the Pacific Ocean on the West Coast of the United States. It has approx.
9 miles of sand frontage and only one condominium complex on the entire
beach. A pier and plaza are the centerpiece to beach events and
activities in a promenade area called Pier Plaza.
