Taco Surf is recognizable by the carved, wooden tiki mask statues facing Pacific Coast Highway in Surfside. Bordering Sunset Beach, if you can't find the place just look for the water tower house and you'll find Taco Surf near the base of the building (or its stilt-structure).

Taco Surf serves tacos, Mexican food and has shavings on the floor. The beer is ice cold and margaritas are delicious. There's a full bar with TVs for sports game watching. The place is so casual surfers drop in after a session at the beach a few feet away.

Live music is in a small stage area in a corner. It is a tight squeeze but ideal for the party atmosphere that this fun restaurant and home away from home offers. Bands are popular, local rock acts, plus a bit of country from time to time.
