The Course
This fantastic oceanfront course is a favorite among Southern California
veteran runners and first timers alike! Run by the famous Huntington Beach
pier and continue through scenic Huntington Beach Central Park. Observe
native surfers in their own natural habitat as you hit the beachfront
running path at Bolsa Chica State Beach. Kick it up a notch as you pass by
the crowds at Main Street on your way to a monumental finish line moment.
More than 1,000 volunteers and several bands will be along the way cheering
you on and making sure you have plenty of nourishment and energy!
Start/Finish
All courses start and finish under the sky bridge at the Hyatt Regency
Resort and Spa, so close to the ocean you can smell it!

you a better runner? Learn how to alleviate leg and back pain associated
with running. You can even get a surf lesson from a local long board expert!
(Don’t forget your board shorts!) Be sure to meet the artist who designed
the new medals and t-shirts.
Get a whole new perspective on living an active lifestyle! Check out the
seminar schedule for topics such as nutrition and feeling good, meal
planning, managing finances on a busy schedule, optimizing your fitness
program, reducing stress, and creating the weight loss plan that’s right for
you.
Beer Garden and Beach Party!
Live music, beer, and the beach! Southern California has its own way of
finishing a race and preparing for the Super Bowl! Join us for our Beer
Garden Beach Party at the finish line before you find your favorite
Huntington Beach location to watch the game.

More than 1,000 volunteers are needed to make this event a success. We are
looking for enthusiastic, qualified adults in all areas of the event,
including water stations, clean-up, registration, and information. All
volunteers receive a great event t-shirt and other goodies. Please join the
