Pacific Shoreline Marathon

10th Anniversary – February 5th, 2006
The 10th Anniversary Celebration includes over $250,000 worth of participant gifts and bonuses, with something special for everyone. These prizes include a FREE SONY Walkman for every Marathon finisher, FREE Technical Shirts for every Half Marathon finisher, a $10,000 Half Marathon Speed Bonus Pool, Special Edition Finishers’ Medallions for finishers of all races, and Diamond-Studded Legacy medals for runners completing their 10th Pacific Shoreline Marathon.

The Course
This fantastic oceanfront course is a favorite among Southern California veteran runners and first timers alike! Run by the famous Huntington Beach pier and continue through scenic Huntington Beach Central Park. Observe native surfers in their own natural habitat as you hit the beachfront running path at Bolsa Chica State Beach. Kick it up a notch as you pass by the crowds at Main Street on your way to a monumental finish line moment. More than 1,000 volunteers and several bands will be along the way cheering you on and making sure you have plenty of nourishment and energy!

Start/Finish
All courses start and finish under the sky bridge at the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa, so close to the ocean you can smell it!

Beer Garden and Beach Party!
Live music, beer, and the beach! Southern California has its own way of finishing a race and preparing for the Super Bowl! Join us for our Beer Garden Beach Party at the finish line before you find your favorite Huntington Beach location to watch the game.

Volunteer
More than 1,000 volunteers are needed to make this event a success. We are looking for enthusiastic, qualified adults in all areas of the event, including water stations, clean-up, registration, and information.
