Huntington Beach Surfing Lesson

Let's go surfing now, everybody's learning how. Come on a surfing safari with me.  Jan & Dean sang that tune and Dean Torrence probably never knew he'd end up in Huntington Beach where locals were only to happy to embrace Dean's songs and philosophy from his early days of Gold Record hits back in the 1960s.

Surfing has come a long way since the days of the 100-pound wood longboards that men, women and even girls and boys had to learn to surf on. Today the boards are lightweight, much shorter and some instructors such as Zack's Beach Concessions guarantee to have you up and surfing in one session. Here are some classes to get you into the Pacific Ocean of the west facing HB shores so you can go surfing.
