December 10, 2004    Farmer's Market and Art A-Faire Held weekly on Friday  from Noon to Dusk (approx. 5 p.m.) Held most Fridays at the outdoor Pier Plaza next to the Huntington Beach Pier, a certified Farmer's Market sells the finest California grown fruits and vegetables, breads, nuts, flowers and perishables. The Art Fair held in conjunction with the Farmer's Market features over 50 vendors selling unique, hand made gifts and crafts. Call: (714) 536-2213 or (714) 846-5509. December 10, 2004  Art Exhibit - In a League of Their Own is a group exhibition of various media from the Huntington Harbour Art League. Location: Huntington Beach Art Center, 538 Main Street, Huntington Beach. Admission is free. Time: Gallery is open Noon to 6 p.m. Call: (714) 374-1650.

December 10, 2004   Live Acoustic Music - Corday will play at Pete Mallory's Surf City Sunset Grille. This Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa restaurant is off the hook with acoustic sounds of the newest, upcoming bands in Orange County Friday and Saturday nights. December 10, 2004  Snowflakes light up the Huntington Beach Pier and Main Street through New Year's Day. Approximately 84 artificial snowflakes strewn with twinkling lights adorn light downtown Huntington Beach. They are a delight to see. There are 48 on the pier and 36 stretching along Main Street from Pacific Coast Highway to Orange Avenue. Traditionally placed along Main Street with corporate sponsorship plaques attached to them, funding cuts have changed the procedure this year. To support the community programs such as Huntington Beach Youth Shelter and YMCA affiliated with this beautiful beach enhancement in Huntington Beach, you can call (714) 847-9622.
