March 4, 2005 Play - Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Christopher Hampton - A wicked game of conquest is underway. Anything goes when a predatory, wealthy widow challenges a notorious rake to seduce a beautiful young newlywed. The rake succeeds, but not before falling helplessly into a fatal attraction. A smash hit on the London and Broadway stages, and the basis for the Academy Award winning film, Dangerous Liaisons, this is a story of lust, seduction, and revenge among the 18th century French aristocracy. Their children hit the ceiling when they find out.
