October 7, 2005 Oktoberfest at Old World Village Restaurant - Get out your lederhosen and learn the Chicken Dance at Oktoberfest in Huntington Beach. October 7, 2005 - Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championships hosted by Surfing America for ages Juniors (Under 18, Under 16, Girls Under 18) Team arrival and registration, Media Accreditation and Level 1 Judging Seminar . Event is held Oct. 8 - 16 in Huntington Beach. International Surfing Association (ISA) in Olympic Games format with participants representing countries. Medals are awarded to the top four finalists. Location: Huntington Beach City Beach near the Huntington Beach Pier at Pacific Coast Highway and Main Street, Huntington Beach. Free to watch. The Hilton Waterfront Beach Hotelwill serve as Event Headquarters with all event announcements posted there and at the contest site on the beach. The AGM, team registration, media accreditation, judging seminar and other important meetings will be held at the Hilton. The hotel is located beachfront, at 21100 Pacific Coast Hwy. It is walking distance from the contest site and downtown Huntington Beach.
