September 23, 2005    Farmer's Market and Art A-Faire Held weekly on Friday  from Noon to Dusk (approx. 5 p.m.) Held most Fridays at the outdoor Pier Plaza next to the Huntington Beach Pier, a certified Farmer's Market sells the finest California grown fruits and vegetables, breads, nuts, flowers and perishables. September 23, 2005   Oktoberfest at Old World Village. Get out your lederhosen and learn the Chicken Dance at Oktoberfest in Huntington Beach. The event includes entertainment with German bands, dancing and tasty German foods. A variety of German and assorted beers on tap are sold as well as mixed drinks and liqueurs in shot glasses sold by "shot girls" wearing dirndl skirts.
