Surfing Competition - World class surfers Jeff and Barry Deffenbaugh
created a three-day specialty event in the 2005 surf series. The event goes
from September 9 to 11, 2005. Location: Huntington Beach Pier (south side),

September 9, 2005 Farmer's Market and Art
A-Faire Held weekly on Friday from Noon to Dusk (approx. 5 p.m.) Held
most Fridays at the outdoor Pier Plaza next to the Huntington Beach Pier, a
certified Farmer's Market sells the finest California grown fruits and
vegetables, breads, nuts, flowers and perishables. The Art Fair held in
conjunction with the Farmer's Market features over 50 vendors selling

September 9, 2005 Childrens Play - Annie Warbucks
from Orange County Children's Theater in cooperation with The City of
Stanton. This magical sequel to Broadway’s favorite family musical begins
right where Annie left off. It’s Christmas Morning, 1933, and everyone in
Oliver “Daddy” Warbucks’ household is celebrating the billionaire’s adoption
of Annie, an orphan who charmed her way into his heart. However, their
celebration is short-lived when New York Child Welfare Commissioner Harriet
Doyle arrives. The commissioner declares that New York law does not allow a
single man to adopt a child. Warbucks has 60 days to find a wife and a
mother for Annie, or Annie goes back to the orphanage. Directed by Kathy
Busby, Musical Direction by Crystal Barron, Choreography by Tara Pitt.
