Wines will be pared with cheeses and a variety of food samples in a tasting to raise money for Community Health Care Centers.  Silent and live auctions included. May 19, 2006   Surfing - National Scholastic Surfing Association NSSA 2005/2006 Southwest Conference Open Season Students Only. This is a 6 Star rated 4-day event held from May 18 to 21. It will be held at the south side of the Huntington Beach Pier near Pacific Coast Highway and Main Street in Huntington Beach. It is open to students only (age as of 1/1/06) mens 16 and up; juniors 13 to 15 years; boys 12 and under; mini groms 10 and under; longboard all ages; womens all ages. May 19, 2006    Farmer's Market and Art A-Faire Held weekly on Friday  from Noon to Dusk (approx. 5 p.m.) Held most Fridays at the outdoor Pier Plaza next to the Huntington Beach Pier, a certified Farmer's Market sells the finest California grown fruits and vegetables, breads, nuts, flowers and perishables. May 19, 2006   Art - Windows Gallery in Huntington Beach Central Library is holding its annual Member's Co-op Show of the Huntington Beach Art League. Located on the first floor of the library, the exhibit features works from amateur and professional artists with varied themes that range from landscapes to abstracts. This mixed media exhibit is free to see.
