October 12, 2007   Oktoberfest at Old World Village. Get out your lederhosen and learn the Chicken Dance at Oktoberfest in Huntington Beach. The event includes entertainment with German bands, dancing and tasty German foods. A variety of German and assorted beers on tap are sold as well as mixed drinks and liqueurs in shot glasses sold by "shot girls" wearing dirndl skirts. October 12, 2007  Band - The Grumps at Perqs Nite Club. 21+, 117 Main Street, Huntington Beach, CA.  Perqs, home base for the Walter Trout Band, is a lively, casual bar that once served as a brothel in Huntington Beach. October 12, 2007  I Believe Benefit & Dinner Auction - 29th annual fundraiser with emcee Ed Arnold. Entertainment, live and silent auctions and a fantastic meal are included. October 12, 2007  Farmer's Market and Art A-Faire Held weekly on Friday  from Noon to Dusk (approx. 5 p.m.) Held most Fridays at the outdoor Pier Plaza next to the Huntington Beach Pier, a certified Farmer's Market sells the finest California grown fruits and vegetables, breads, nuts, flowers and perishables. October 12, 2007  Surf Sound - Surf Sounds Part 1: Featuring the Beach Boys is the latest exhibit from the Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum.  Did you know The Beach Boys were first called The Pendletons, for their woolen jackets they eventually shed?  Record covers, tickets, stage passes, karaoke sing-alongs and memorabilia from a global phenomenon are showcased in this unique, fun exhibit.  Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum is open from 12pm (Noon) to 5pm daily.  Suggested donation is $2/adult and $1/student.
