February 10, 2008  Lance Romance Fun Run - Beloved friend of event planners, Lance Faulk, dreamed of sending his son to college, but sadly passed away last fall. Location: The Run will start at the Hyatt Huntington Beach Hotel bridge, located at 21500 Pacific Coast Highway, and run the pedestrian trail to 18th street. The course will then loop back to the start.

February 10, 2008 Wetlands viewing - Birders, nature lovers and the curious are invited to drop by the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, one of the West Coast's significant flyways for migrating birds. Bring binoculars to enjoy even closer views of these soaring creatures. Location: Pacific Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway. Enjoy 300 acres, plus a 1.5 mile loop trail.  No pets or bikes permitted on the trails. Open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
