April 17, 2008 Youth in Government Day. Huntington Beach Youth Board's 24th Annual Youth In Government Day involves 170 high school students invited to participate in city government on one special day. City hall hosts the political leaders of the future as students from four local high schools learn about the City Administrator, get an overview of City Hall functions then take on a staff-intern session. A mock City Council meeting will then be held with City administrators and staff. This event is not open to the public, though you may see students at City Hall this day.

Winner of the American College Theatre Festival, this drama by James Leonard, Jr. is the story of a disturbed young man and a disenchanted preacher in a tiny southern Indiana town during the great depression era.
