April 26, 2008 Spring Festival. 3rd Annual Spring Festival at Shipley Nature Central in Central Park features a Habitat Tour at 10 a.m. Maypole dance celebration will be at 10:30 a.m., Fofth Wheel Blue Grass Band from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., food, plant and boutique items for sale and booths from throughout Huntington Beach. April 26, 2008 Wetlands viewing - Birders, nature lovers and the curious are invited to drop by the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, one of the West Coast's significant flyways for migrating birds. Bring binoculars to enjoy even closer views of these soaring creatures. Location: Pacific Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway. Enjoy 300 acres, plus a 1.5 mile loop trail. No pets or bikes permitted on the trails. Open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
