April 8, 2008 Surf City Nights - Featured artists include
Theresa Walker, a talented singer /songwriter who plays guitar, Josh
Vietti (5 to 7 in front of Sugar Shack), and Seis Cuerdas are the
featured artist musicians at SCN. There's a street
closure, Farmer's Market and Craft Fair plus free live entertainment
and 2 hours free parking in City-owned garage at Pier Promenade, 200 Main
Street, Huntington Beach, CA. Time: 5 to 9 p.m. Cost: Free admission.

take a personal gondola tour.
April 8, 2008 Wetlands viewing - Birders, nature lovers and the
curious are invited to drop by the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, one of
the West Coast's significant flyways for migrating birds. Bring binoculars
to enjoy even closer views of these soaring creatures. Location: Pacific
Coast Highway between Seapoint and Warner on the east side of the highway.
Enjoy 300 acres, plus a 1.5 mile loop trail. No pets or bikes
permitted on the trails. Open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

FUND-RAISERS & COMMUNITY
April 8, 2008 Bingo at Huntington Beach High School, or Beach Bingo,
supports school athletic and other student programs and activities. Doors
open at 5:15; early bird game at 6:15 p.m. $1/each card or $3/4 cards.
Payouts for games $250 (all prices subject to change). The Main game starts
