Duck-A-Thon Rubber Duck Race and Festival - at the Huntington Beach Pier. Thousands of rubber duckies are launched into the Pacific Ocean, bobbing to shore to win prizes for their owners! Little rubber ducks race at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Corporate Ducks – competing for "Golden Duck Perpetual Trophy" race at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. The “Duck Festival” features food, bands and activities. The procedure is to stand at the end of the gated track each dog is placed into and cajole their pet to run to you. The track is fairly short so the run is not strenuous for most pets.
