PIER PLAZA CYCLER

When you visit Huntington Beach (or if you live in this fair city) you'll find that the hub of beach activity centers around Pier Plaza and the Huntington Beach Pier. Any time of year you will find people there. But on a February day in 2009, don't be surprised to don your bare arms to the sun as you ride your bike with a cup of coffee in hand. Seen in the background is a palapa set up at Duke's Huntington Beach restaurant for the crowds to pull up and valet to take over parking their cars. In case you didn't notice the cars in the background, Pier Plaza is also the hub of parking access from the pier, pier restaurants with ocean views, and the City Beach.

In recent years more & more bikes have taken to the streets. There are places you can tie your bike up to go enjoy the day, so next time, don't hesitate to save a few bucks by buckling up on a bicycle and riding to the beach!
