NEWLAND HOUSE MUSEUM

Huntington Beach was once a landscape of crops and on a hill above a massive farm sat the Newland family house. The Newlands were influential in developing Huntington Beach into a thriving, growing city that offered amenities such as banks, stores and schools.

Newland House Museum is the original home of the family and one of the few remaining examples of architecture from the turn of the 20th century.

The museum is open to the public most weekends, offering guided tours from around Noon to 4 p.m. The fee for admission is a modest donation of a few dollars.
