DUKE OF HB
The famed, late great Duke Kahanamoku who visited
Huntington Beach is immortalized by the good
folks at Huntington Surf & Sport who
surrounded this bronze statue of Duke with a
Surfers Hall of Fame.
One or twice a year surfers are recognized for their
contributions to the sport by being invited
to place their hand & foot prints, plus
their autographs in the red-colored cement.
It is Huntington Beach's version of the
Grauman's Chinese plaza commemorating
