March 29, 2009 Artsy Sundays - A workshop features guest artists who teach hands-on art to families in a program sponsored by Target. Throughout California and the US, Target has taken on the arts as its funding project, providing free admission to galleries and art museums on weekends or special days. March 29, 2009 Grunion Run! Run for the slippery silversides. Must have fishing license to catch them, and can only catch 'em with your hands. That's the State of California's rules. If you don't have a license, you won't be allowed to fish, as most beaches are closed that late (except for San Diego County beaches).  Location: All Southern California beaches may experience the grunion run. Time: Expected run time is  11:30 to 1:30 p.m.
