Blackbird Pond book with author Diane

at Shipley Nature Center, Huntington
Beach’s Own Book on the Drought
Special Opening Sunday, October 25, from
2 - 4 p.m. at Shipley Nature Center.
located in Huntington Beach Central
Park, on this day to read and to
autograph her new book. The book will be
available for $12 and may be signed by
Diane, inscribed as a gift or for your
own collection. The art work is all
original and of the birds, butterflies,
turtles, coyote and plants in the Nature
Center. Blackbird Pond has been drawn
down due to the drought, and the animals
seek to manage. The book tells us what
to do to help with the drought and is
appropriate for children and adults.

and in scientific form for further

and Warner on the east side of the highway. Enjoy 300 acres, plus a 1.5 mile
