- Calling all kids ages 5 to 12. You are
invited to build a raft on a small pond,
navigate a rope bridge, build forts and
go down a mud slide. Bring a plastic bag
with a change of shoes and clothes.

Lifesaving Association National
Lifeguard Championships. More than 1,000
lifeguards from across the country
compete Aug 5-7 at Huntington State Beach.
Professional Lifeguards ranging in age from 16 to 75 years-old and Junior Lifeguards ages 9-17 will compete in events designed to challenge their lifesaving skills. From surf swims to beach runs, paddleboard and surf boat races, as well as the Ironman and Ironwoman
competitions, the events will crown the
nation's top male and female lifeguards.
